Easter Bunny Breakfast
Dobbie’s Garden Centre, Monifieth
Thursday 28 March, 8.30am (age 2 to 5)
Friday 29 March to Monday 1 April, 8.30am (age 3 to 10)
Hop along to Dobbie’s for a tasty breakfast, followed by some fun activities and games. Follow the footprints to find the Easter Bunny in the wildflower meadow, enjoy egg-cellent games and plant your very own miniature wildflower meadow to take home. A session specifically for under-5’s will take place on 28 March.
Easter Fun at Glamis Castle

Friday 29 March to Sunday 14 April, 10am to 4pm
Glamis Castle offers a lovely day out for all the family. Come and experience the great outdoors whilst taking part in some family-friendly activities including an easter egg hunt, fairy trail and outdoor games in the Glamis Castle gardens, as well as craft sessions on selected dates during the holidays.
Dragon Egg Hunt
Brechin Castle Centre
Friday 29 March to Sunday 14 April, 9am to 2pm
Travel back to medieval times this Easter for a dragon-sized egg hunt, with lots of fun and games and the chance to win an amazing prize! Make your way around the medieval trail, following the dragon footprints to find the clues and search for the dragon eggs before heading to the brave knight training camp.
Easter Egg Trail at Barry Mill
Barry Mill, Carnoustie
Friday 29 to Sunday 31 March, 11am to 3pm
Follow the Easter egg trail round the historic Barry Mill and its stunning grounds to find the clues, solve the puzzles and claim your chocolate reward.
Easter Egg Trail at House of Dun
House of Dun, Montrose
Friday 29 March to Monday 1 April, 11am to 3pm
Follow the Easter egg trail around the grounds of the majestic House of Dun, collect the letter and find the Bunny’s name and claim your chocolate prize.
Easter Eggspress
Caledonian Railway, Brechin
Saturday 30 & Sunday 31 March
The Easter Eggspress departs the Caledonian Railway this Easter weekend! All paying passengers will receive an Easter treat from one of our friendly volunteers whilst on board the steam train from Brechin to Bridge of Dun. Journey time between stations is 20 minutes, with a 15 minute stop off at both stations. A return journey lasts around 1 hour.
Easter Family Fun Day
The Den, Kirriemuir
Saturday 30 March, 12 noon to 2pm
Come and celebrate Easter at The Den in Kirriemuir, with lots of fun-filled activities! Search for colourful eggs on an egg-citing egg hunt, battle for victory on the inflatable Gladiator Duel podium, race around the inflatable course on space hoppers, try out the nerf shooting range, enjoy arts and crafts and much more.
Easter at Pathhead Farm
Pathhead Farm, Kirriemuir
Sunday 31 March, 10am to 4pm
Head along to Pathhead Farm for a day full of Easter fun and games. Enjoy a family-friendly Easter egg hunt, a parachute competition, egg and spoon race, story corner, paint your own egg, and browse stalls from local producers. Pony rides will be available for a small additional charge.

Kids can have a smashing time taking part in adventure, sport and environmental activities with ANGUSalive during the Easter holidays in Angus. There is so much on offer, including swim sessions, indoor and outdoor sports, storytelling, musicals, time treks in the museums, environmental activity camps, watersport tasters, disability & inclusion multi-sports camps, teen zones and much more!
Den Building
Charleton Farm, Montrose
Friday 29 March, Friday 5 April & Friday 12 April, 10.30am
Come along to the woods at Charleton for an hour or so of foraging and building your perfect den. The team will offer hints and tips but the only limit is your imagination. Celebrate your den building success with a hot chocolate and marshmallows in your newly built hideaway. This activity is suitable for children aged 4 and over.
Easter Cupcake Decorating
Charleton Farm, Montrose
Tuesday 2 & Tuesday 9 April, 10.30am
Come along to Charleton Farm and decorate 6 cupcakes in an Easter theme, with fondant and buttercream. Limited only by your imagination. Take your box of 6 cupcakes home to enjoy with your family. This activity is suitable for children aged 4 and over.
Bug Hotel Building
Charleton Farm, Montrose
Wednesday 3 & Wednesday 10 April, 10.30am
Join the team at Charleton Farm outside to learn a little bit about why bugs are important to the life of the farm. Help to forage for natural bits and pieces and build a hotel for bug guests to live in an area of the farm that you will be able to come back and visit. This activity is suitable for children aged 4 and over.
