The Pictish Room, Aberlemno Village Hall

Description

The Pictish Room in Aberlemno is home to a collection of Pictish replica stones, carvings and interpretation boards that celebrate our diverse Pictish heritage.

It is located at the back of the Village Hall, adjacent to the celebrated Aberlemno Sculptured Stones and a short walk from the famous Cross Slab which is in the Aberlemno Churchyard.

Please note that while a wheelchair accessible toilet is available at this facility, the Pictish Room itself is not wheelchair accessible.

Opening Times

Open Days for The Pictish Room in 2024 are as follows:

14 April – 12 noon to 3pm
19 May – 12 noon to 3pm
1 June – 10am to 12 noon
15 June – 10am to 12 noon
23 June – 12 noon to 3pm
21 July – 12 noon to 3pm
3 August – 10am to 12 noon
18 August – 12 noon to 3pm
7 & 8 September (Doors Open Days) – 12 noon to 3pm

Entry Fee
Donations welcome with all proceeds going to the upkeep of the village hall and Pictish Room.

Refreshments available at a small charge.
