Wildflower Wander

Head out from the Glen Doll Ranger Base with our ranger on a hunt for wildflowers!

A gentle forest track wander up the Dounalt path to the bridge at Jock’s road, we will chat about all the wildlife we see and will end in an incredible viewpoint, that will hopefully host some of the most beautiful wildflowers the glen has to offer! Although blooming can be weather dependant, the views, hills, and burns will definitely be enough beauty for us!

Please bring all weather wear, sturdy boots, liquids, and a lunch! We will have our lunch at the viewpoint and then walkers can either continue their walk up Jock’s Road to learn all about Davvy’s Bourach or come back down to the base with the ranger!

Bring binoculars if you have them and all the questions you can think of!
