Sportsman’s Dinner at Glamis Castle

We would like to invite you to a very special Sportsman’s Dinner in our grand Dining Room in the heart of Glamis Castle. Organised in aid of Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance, guests will be served an exquisite three course dinner followed by some fascinating and well known after-dinner speakers including former Scotland goalkeeper Alan Rough MBE, former FIFA referee John Rowbotham and celebrated Scottish comedian Raymond Mearns.
With 53 caps in a Scotland jersey, Alan Rough played for Scotland at two World Cups in 1978 and 1982 and at club level for Hibernian and Partick Thistle most notably.
John Rowbotham refereed football matches at the highest level including 13 Old Firm derbies and 50 international fixtures during his career. He’s a well-known and respected face to any football fans.
A regular at the Edinburgh Fringe, Raymond Mearns is celebrated for his improvisational talents during his live stand-up shows. He’s sure to bring lots of laughter during the evening.

Our Sportsman’s Dinner is taking place on Saturday 18th November from 7pm. Tickets are £65 per head or £600 for a table of 10.
