Scotland’s Gardens Scheme – Inverbrothock School Sensory Garden & Forest Garden

These two gardens have been designed and created by the pupils, staff and parents. The Sensory Garden is a great asset to all children and staff, especially children who need additional support. There are areas of raised beds for growing vegetables, a dry river bed with interesting grasses and plants, large stone features to climb on, and different shelters and corners to play in. A polytunnel is used for outdoor classes and seed sowing. The Forest Garden includes interesting mounds and trees, an area to build dens and play amongst trees. Gardens created by and for young minds.

Directions: Take the A933 towards Arbroath, turn into Kirkton Industrial Estate on Kirkton Road, follow the road to the T junction for East Kirkton Road. Follow the signs to the school which is on the left.
