Robert Burns Exhibition

Join historian and local Burns expert Dave Ramsay B.E.M, for an illustrated talk on Robert Burns and his legacy in Montrose and Angus.

Dave will discuss the life and works of Burns aided by a wide range of his own collection of Burns books on display. These include the incredible 1896 centenary edition of “The songs of Burns, for voice and pianoforte” with historical notes and illustrations.

Dave Ramsay B.E.M is also providing “The Immortal Memory” at the Montrose Burns festival on the 19th January in the Park Hotel, Montrose.

The opening of the exhibition also coincides with the handover from Montrose Burns Club current president Tom Murray, to incoming president, Andy Baxter.
