Pollinator Picnic

Join Sustainable Kirriemuir on Kirrie Hill for a fun, free and family-friendly day at Kirrie’s first Pollinator Picnic. Celebrate and learn all about the incredible insects that keep our ecosystems alive.

What to expect on the day:

• Take part in children’s nature crafts and activities.
• Join our Bookbug storyteller to hear lots of stories about nature and bugs!
• Enjoy some fresh, locally grown (pollinated!) fruit.
• Help us build Kirrie Hill’s first Big Bug Hotel.
• Go for a bug hunt to discover the diverse bugs and beasties we have living amongst us!

What to bring:

Bring along a picnic and a blanket to sit on – we’ll provide the pollinated goods (juice and fresh fruit)!

Please remember to dress according to the weather, bring sunscreen and a hat if the forecast looks to be hot (fingers crossed!).
