Easter Fun at Glamis Castle

Free – £17.50Over the Easter break, Glamis Castle offers a lovely day out for all the family. Come and experience the great outdoors whilst taking part in some family-friendly activities.
Easter Egg Hunt – 29 March to 1 April
Over Easter Weekend, visitors can join an extra special Easter egg hunt across our gardens where children look for wooden eggs and clues to then be rewarded with a treat from our Pavilion Shop.
Our Easter Trail is free to anyone visiting on Friday 29th March, Saturday 30th March, Sunday 31st March and Sunday 1st April.
As well as keeping your eyes peeled for wooden eggs throughout our gardens, there’s plenty for families to explore on over Easter Weekend. Here’s a few ideas that will be a hit with all ages.
A fascinating guided tour of the Castle
Discovering the carved sculptures depicting Macbeth within our Pinetum
A visit to the playpark
Walking the dog in our spectacular grounds
A coffee and cake or something delicious for lunch in the Castle Kitchen Restaurant
Fairy Trail – 2 to 14 April
Children of all ages can step into a magical world of fairies when visiting Glamis Castle Gardens over the Easter school holidays. Enjoy a self-led tour of the gardens whilst searching for a number of fairy doors that have appeared throughout many of the wooded areas of our gardens.
Outdoor Fun and Games – 29 March to 14 April
When visiting our Walled Garden over the Easter school holidays, visitors are welcome to enjoy a selection of lawn games including pétanque and giant quoits.
Go Potty – 2 & 9 April
Come along for some fun in the Walled Garden where you can make a paper pot, plant it up with a seed and take it home with you. A member of our garden team will be on hand to help on Tuesday 2nd and 9th April between 1pm – 2pm.
Fairy & Elf Craft Sessions – 4 & 11 April
Make a fairy or elf out of natural materials collected from the garden. Join a member of our gardens team in the Walled Garden anytime between 1pm and 2pm on 4th or 11th April for some creative fun.

Access over Easter Weekend is based on our Gardens and Grounds admission tickets: £8.50 per adult, £6.00 per child (5 – 16 years) and free for children under 5 or Castle, Gardens and Grounds admission tickets: £17.50 per adult, £11 per child (5 – 16 years) and free for children under 5.
