Daniel Rodriguez Band and Emma Rose at Montrose Folk Club

Daniel Rodriguez was a founding member of the massively popular U.S. transcendental Folk Band, Elephant Revival, who released six albums over a ten year period up to 2018. The Band toured extensively during that period, including a fondly remembered Glasgow gig in 2017, when they rocked the main stage at Celtic Connections.

For many, Daniel Rodriguez had become the voice of Elephant Revival, both as a Songwriter and Lead Vocalist. Since Elephant Revival disbanded in 2018, Daniel has been establishing a solo career, now with a new four-piece Band, consisting of Daniel, on acoustic guitar and vocals, Zachary Jackson, on bass guitar and vocal harmony, Justin Mazer, on Telecaster guitar, and Emma Rose, on vocal harmony.

Daniel and the new band have been on the Road in North America this summer, making great music and creating a big impact. This has included opening for The Lumineers in an Arena and Stadium tour, with a special homecoming show for 40,000 fans in Denver, Colorado.

The gig at Montrose Playhouse will open with a short Support set from Emma Rose, who is an established performer in her own right.
