Clay Festival at Hospitalfield

In 2024, we are expanding our Clay Festival to feature demonstrations and screenings. The Festival will continue to offer the opportunity to meet some of the many ceramicists and potters working in Angus, talk to them about their practice and to buy unique works — from the smallest items to much more ambitious pieces.

Each artist uses the same basic materials of clay, heat and natural and unnatural chemicals to make their work —  traditions that have been used for millennia, that still seduce and fascinate. This year in the artist studios we will host Dundee Ceramics Workshop that will feature artists working with clay and moving image in the digital studio.
