Artist House Study Day at Hospitalfield

A study day for artists and the art curious to explore the original intentions and contemporary interpretation of the phenomena of the Artist House.

We’ve invited three artist house organisations of a similar scale to Hospitalfield, to get together and compare our approaches to creating contemporary programmes in historic settings – resisting the over museumisation of these places while conserving their fragile material heritage.
