Angus Grill + Larder is a contemporary café serving local food in a casual and friendly atmosphere just off the A90, 3 miles South of Brechin.

Angus Grill + Larder covers everything from breakfast (served until noon) to mid-morning cake and coffee, to lunch all the way through to an early dinner. The menu consists of a variety of burgers and hot dogs, sandwiches and amazing salads that will make you enjoy being healthy.

All of the meat is supplied by Bruce Brymer’s of Brechin, the fruit and vegetables come from Turriff’s of Montrose and the breads come Phoenix Bakehouse in Inverbervie. The menu caters for all dietary needs with particular attention to gluten and dairy free diets.

Angus Grill + Larder is also home to a small retail area selling some of the best produce from small local food producers and a selection of gifts too. You can pick up some wonderful dairy fudge served made in Brechin or perhaps some award winning jam made in Edzell, and anything in between. You can even buy some premium bamboo toilet paper that can be found in Angus Grill + Larder’s award aspiring toilets!

There is also a play area inside for the little ones to be amused in between eating from the extensive menu for wee ones.

The outside area enjoys some external seating overlooking the local fields and hills alongside the fire pit where you can roast marshmallows to enjoy after your feed. Although dogs are not able to come inside, they are most welcome to make use of the secure doggy play park before and after your meal or they can join you, if you wish, to enjoy the views and eat outside.

No need to book, just head down and the team will look after you. A waiting list is operated during peak times to make sure everybody gets a feed.
