A Guided Tour of Davidson Legacy Cottage
Saturday 30 & Sunday 31 March
11am, 12 noon, 1pm & 2pm
Davidson Legacy Cottage, a small cottage set in the heart of Angus known previously as Netherton Cottage, has a story to tell – the story of the Davidson family from the famous motorcycle company ‘Harley-Davidson’.
The cottage was found in a derelict state and rescued in 2008, and restored to as it would have been in 1857 when the Davidson family left for the American dream. This cottage gives the feeling of a step back in time and has welcomed thousands of visitors from around the world to see the historic family home.
During My Angus, enjoy a guided tour of the cottage and learn more about how the family lived in Scotland along with their journey that has led to the families success. Tours will begin on the hour but you are welcome to enjoy a cuppa before or after your tour.
Booking is not required. Entry and refreshments are free, but donations are welcome.
Any donations will be added to the save the cottage campaign. If you would like to find out more or get involved, check out the Davidson Legacy preservation group on Facebook.
