£5Join us for an enchanting afternoon at Montrose Museum with “Wilderness Tales,” a captivating event designed for young adventurers and their guardians.
As part of the Wee Bessie Exhibition and Angus Book Fest, acclaimed authors and storytellers David G. Pullar and Celia Norman Smith will lead a creative storytelling workshop that promises to ignite imaginations and foster a love for nature. Children will embark on a journey through the wilds of Scotland, learning storytelling skills and crafting their own tales inspired by the country’s majestic wildlife.
The workshop includes:
– Mask Making: Create your own animal masks to bring your characters to life. – Storytelling Skills: Learn the art of storytelling and embody the characters of Scottish wild animals.
– Creative Writing: Develop your own unique stories and share them with the group.
This interactive and educational experience is perfect for children aged 8 to 12, accompanied by an adult. Refreshments of fruit and juice will be provided to keep our young storytellers energised.
