Ride The North 2024
24 August 2024, 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
Ride the North 2024 is a single day event, starting and ending in the historic town of Arbroath.
This is a non competitive cycling event bringing a festival atmosphere as hundreds of riders pass through welcoming towns and villages on the beautiful backroads of Scotland. RtN is a supported ride, with mechanical support, support vehicles, signposting, lunches, mobile coffee stops, refreshments and of course all the encouragement you will need.
The route will be an clockwise loop around the historic county of Angus. The route is set to feature Arbroath, Letham, Forfar, Kirriemuir, Cortachy, Menmuir, Brechin, Bridge of Dun and Lunan.
There are two route options (100 miles and 70 miles).
Around 60 miles of the 70 mile route will be common with the longer route. It will be possible for riders doing different distances to do most of the ride together (the 70 mile rider may have moderate waits at refreshment stops).
Public bookings for RtN 2024 have now closed. However, charity places are still available – see the website for details.
