Create in Nature – Bookmaking Workshop

Create in Nature is a series of 4 workshops where you will be guided to explore your creativity and connection with nature. The benefits of both nature and being creative are well documented. In this series we combine both.

Held outdoors at our community garden, you will be encouraged to slow down and explore several (or just one) of the many ways we can observe and document what is around us through simple mark making techniques.

Each workshop is suitable for age 18+ and all abilities. We will adapt the workshop to suit levels of ability.

Creating a unique book out of your rubbish.

Explore the world of book making and learn a number of simple book making techniques to create a small, unique handmade book from paper scraps brought from home.

This book can be used in the next workshop where your pages will be transformed into a visual diary; a place for your observations, discoveries and moments in nature to be documented.
