Mill of Inverarity Farm Shop
Description:
Visit this perfectly stocked farm shop in Inverarity, close to Forfar, only 1-minute drive from the A90.
The shop has a great selection of own beef, lamb and free-range eggs, along with a wide range of other local Scottish produce including fresh fruit, vegetables, traybakes, takeaway coffees and tea.
Mill of Inverarity is a working family farm with both rich heritage and a modern vision. The farm is run by Alison and Rob Stodart with their two sons, Rory and Tom.
Under their management, the farm has changed beyond recognition to where it is today – a family business that utilises modern farming ideas along with traditional knowledge and experience.
Still a mixed farming enterprise, it has grown to include home produced beef, grass fed lamb and free-range eggs
Alison’s Great Grandfather John Syme moved from Fife to take on the tenancy at The Mill in 1884. This means that it is now the fifth generation of the same family farming The Mill.
