The stunning coastline stretches from Monifieth to Montrose, taking in Carnoustie and Arbroath. Our seaside towns offer beautiful beaches, challenging links golf courses, fun play parks and fascinating visitor attractions.
Further inland you can visit Kirriemuir, the Gateway to the Glens, as well as Forfar, home to the Forfar Bridie, and the Cathedral City of Brechin, famous for its round tower.
Angus also has some charming villages including Glamis where you can visit the majestic Glamis Castle, legendary setting of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, Edzell with its stunning castle and walled garden, and Friockheim which has a fantastic community hub and woodland walks.
The Angus Glens each have their own characteristics, with miles of narrow twisting roads for cyclists, drivers and walkers to enjoy along with amazing wildlife spotting opportunities.
