The dog-friendly accommodation is perfect for a family holiday or special celebration. Sleeping up to 14 between the house and annex, with 7 bedrooms and 5 luxurious bathrooms, the interiors were carefully and elegantly designed to compliment the rural charm of the setting.
Exclusive Use & Events:
Kinclune House and Estate is the perfect rural location for special occasions or corporate events. This magnificent, listed 19th century baronial mansion has three large public rooms, a large garden, making it ideal for hosting intimate weddings and private events. It stands 900 feet above sea level in the foothills to the Angus Glens with panoramic views of the breadth of the Vale of Strathmore.
Kinclune House is perfect for family gatherings and special celebrations such as milestone birthdays and hen weekends. Enjoy outdoor dining with the summer house, fire pit / BBQ and stunning views on sunny days. The spacious kitchen-dining room is ideal for preparing meals and dining together. If you prefer to relax, our recommended in-house chefs can do all the hard work preparing delicious meals and celebration cakes. Retire to the grand drawing room for drinks in front of the open fire while the kids play games or watch a movie in the cosy Snug.
For larger celebrations and events, including weddings, Kinclune’s meticulously designed Victorian steading conversion offers a purpose built wedding and events venue for 90 guests with historic charm and modern amenities. Boasting a dedicated ceremony space and a party barn, plus accommodation for up to 28, including exclusive-use of the house and venue, Kinclune has everything you could dream of for your fairytale countryside wedding.
Kinclune House is also available for intimate weddings in the winter months.

Dog Friendly
Up to 3 dogs are welcome at Kinclune House (2 in the main house and 1 in the annex).
We provide a doggy welcome hamper, dog bowls, dog towels, 1 dog crate and 2 dog beds. There is an outside tap for washing muddy paws, but we do ask guests to please not allow their dogs on the furniture.
Guests have the use of the large garden and the beech wood behind the house for exercising their dogs.
Dependant on the season, they are also welcome to walk in the fields in front of the house (when not in use for livestock).
All year round they have the use of 25 hectare Muir of Holm Wood, which is home to red squirrel, pine marten, badger, red kite, buzzards and roe deer.
We also recommend local lochs, RSPB Reserve Loch Kinnordy, Lintrathen Reservoir and Backwater Reservoir for beautiful nearby walks (within a 10 minute drive).
