Arbroath Cliff Tours provides breathtaking kayak tours of the Arbroath Cliffs and the incredible cave network hidden deep underground.
Explore multiple sea caves, some over 350ft long to find secret underground beaches, ancient stalactites and interesting caverns full of sealife. Exit the caves to search for bottlenose dolphins and seals, spot seabirds and hear stories from the time of Arbroath’s smuggling days.
Arbroath Cliff Tours are passionate about providing a unforgettable experience while keeping customers safe.
Due to the nature of the tour a general/good level of fitness is needed and you must be able to swim. Tours are usually for 1 person but multiple people is allowed if your group has watersports experience (3 people max).
There are currently 4 tours on offer –
– 1hr Sunrise tour
– 2hr Quickie tour
– 3hr Adventure tour
– 5hr Photographer tour
ACTours is run by Cameron Smith, an Arbroath local who has spent 25 years exploring the cliffs between Arbroath and Auchmithie. As a wee boy he would climb the cliffs and swim through the caves with friends.
Cameron has 11 years kayaking experience, is an RNLI trained surf lifeguard and has his outdoor emergency first aid certificate. He is passionate about writing music, climbing mountains, photography, reading and anything adventure.
In 2022, Cameron hopes to introduce walking and swimming tours.
Opening Times
Open daily, tours are arranged by request and are dependent on sea conditions.
