Duncan Wood Photography offers one-to-one and small-group photography workshops, private photography experiences and practical camera tuition based in Angus and available across Scotland. Led by award-winning Scottish photographer Duncan Wood, the experiences are designed for visitors who want to slow down, explore the landscape and learn how to create stronger images in the field.
Workshops can focus on woodland, landscape, seascape, wildlife, nature and intimate details, with locations chosen around the client’s level, interests, preferred subject and seasonal conditions. Popular areas include the Angus Glens, the east coast, Tayside, Perthshire, the Cairngorms and the wider Scottish Highlands.
Duncan’s teaching style is calm, practical and supportive, making the experiences suitable for beginners, intermediate photographers and more experienced enthusiasts. Sessions can cover camera settings, composition, light, field craft, filters, creative decision-making and editing guidance.
Duncan Wood Photography also offers online Lightroom tuition, photography gift vouchers and fine art landscape prints inspired by Scotland’s woodlands, coastlines and wild places.
Full-day one-to-one photography tuition starts from £345. Group bookings and multi-day workshops are priced separately.
Photography workshops and private experiences are available by appointment throughout the year. Seasonal workshops are also available at selected times.
