The fascinating secrets about our bats
About This Event
Come and hear about the wonderful bats that we have in Scotland. Jean Oudney, bat ecologist, biology teacher and a committee member of Tayside Bat Group, will reveal some fascinating secrets about our bats. Jean is involved in bat rescue and training new bat carers, whilst also holding ‘education bats’ under licence, which are used for outdoor education talks and training carers.
This talk will take place at Meffan Gallery, 20 West High Street, Forfar, DD8 1BB. Doors should open at 7pm, for a 7.30pm start. Car parking is available at Myre Car Park (Myre Road, Forfar, DD8 1AZ) and the venue is accessible by public transport. The event is family friendly, but children must be accompanied by an adult. There is disabled access. No dogs allowed except assistance dogs.
Donations (up to £5) are welcome, and help us bring an interesting and varied selection of events to our audience as well as supporting local wildlife causes. Please donate if you can.
