Violet Jacob and the Baltic – A short film by Carolyn Scott and Andy Sim highlighting how the poetry of Violet Jacob (born at the House of Dun in 1863) reflects the historic seafaring connection between Montrose and the Baltic nations.
Featuring Sheila Mann and Dr Jeremy Howard, with music by Steven Gellatly. After the film there will be a Q&A session and a short poetry reading. Author James Robertson will join the above contributors for this event.
