Suzie Ungerleider is a distinguished American-Canadian singer songwriter, renowned for her evocative storytelling and striking emotive vocals. Born in Massachusetts, U.S.A., she was raised in Vancouver, Canada, where her passion for music flourished.

Moving in the nineties to the booming musical scene of Toronto, Ontario, Suzie adopted the stage name of Oh Susanna, under which she captivated audiences with her unique blend of Americans, folk and roots music. For her 2026 tour, Suzie will perform in duo format with Dutch producer and guitarist, B J Baartrams, on electric guitar and backing vocals.

Throughout her illustrious career, Suzie Ungerleider has accumulated numerous awards. These include a Genie award for Best Original Song and a Canadian Folk Music Award for English Songwriter of the Year. In addition, her work has earned three Juno Award (the Canadian equivalent of the Grammys) nominations and four Canadian Folk Music nominations.

Having decided to retire her Oh Susanna moniker, Suzie has made the significant decision to perform under her birth name. She released her most recent album, entitled “Among the Evergreens” in Summer 2025 to considerable acclaim.
