In partnership with The Gin Bothy, the Caledonian Railway is pleased to present this event again for 2026! Spirit of the Caledonian gives visitors the opportunity to sample a selection of premium spirits, hand-crafted by the award winning Gin Bothy.

Enjoy the spirits you have been sampling? Bottles of The Gin Bothy’s hand-crafted spirits will be available to purchase from the bar once the train has arrived back at Brechin.

Important: All seats are arranged in tables of four – if you book three or four seats, you will be seated together, if you book two or singles, you will may be seated with another party. If you are part of a group that is spread over more than one booking, please let us know once you have booked to ensure that you are all sat together on the day. If you do not contact us, your group may not be sat together.
