Ride The North 2025
About This Event
Ride the North 2025 is a single day event starting and finishing at the magnificent Glamis Castle in Angus. There are two route options of 150km and 110km (93/68 miles).
Ride the North is not a race, but rather a challenge ride for cyclists of all abilities.
Taking place in the foothills of the Cairngorms, the route of Ride the North is never flat so you might expect around 1850m of climbing on the ‘150’ route and around 1250m of climbing on the ‘110’ route. The route never reaches high altitude, but there are testing climbs that feature on both routes.
We work in partnership with local communities to ensure you are well looked after along the way – meaning check points with refreshments every 15kms (or therabouts).
Around 100km of the 110km route will be common with the longer route. which makes it possible for riders doing different distances to do most of the ride together.
While there are two ‘marketed’ route choices, the event format means that there are in fact four ways to do it. All are equally valid, you just have to look yourself in the mirror and know you did the correct one for you!
Find out more and book your place on the Ride the North website – please note that only charity places are available as the event is otherwise sold out to participants.
