Jonathan Ogilvie – Landing the Catch
About This Event
A retrospective exhibition of photographs taken by the late Jonathan Ogilvie in the 1980s.
Many people will know and remember Jonathan in all kinds of roles. A graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone, drummer in a Dundee band, painter and photographer, crew member of the Arbroath Lifeboat, model railway creator and enthusiast, member and supporter of Unison, and the inspiration behind the exhibition spaces at Signal Tower, the Meffan, Gateway to the Glens, and Montrose Museum, to name but a few.
Jonathan was always fascinated by fishing, and these pictures were taken in the 1980s, a unique record of the processes and people and boats in and around Arbroath.
