Auldbar Café
Description:
The Auldbar Cafe, situated at the 1974 founded Letham Craft Shop, is a cosy village café.
Using a few local and national Scottish suppliers, the café provides lovely breakfast and lunch options, catering to many dietary requirements with a 50/50 veg to meat menu. From burgers to loaded fries and big breakfasts to gluten friendly cakes, there is something for everyone. The menu is tweaked slightly every 6 weeks or so to keep things exciting, but always with a few firm favourites in there.
A friendly front of house team will welcome you in and sort your caffeine needs (especially if you’re bringing a furiend along!), while chefs Hugo and Craig will sort some fantastic food for you. Then after perusing the cake cabinet, perhaps have a wander around the treasured Craft Shop. Founded in 1974 by Helene and Bill Sturrock, it is the oldest family run crafts shop in the country, and still in the family to this day.
