Brechin Castle Centre

Description:

Brechin Castle Centre is an independent retail outlet situated within 70 acres of Country Park.

The Country Park not only offers a picturesque setting, but also a wide range of activities for all the family.

  • Dragontale Castle – Tucked within a magical realm of dragons and fairytale charm lies Dragontale Castle – a magnificent wooden kingdom filled with wonder, adventure, and imagination.
  • The Fairy Trail – Nestled in the trees, this charming walk invites young adventurers and their grown-ups to follow a winding path through nature, discovering fairy doors, magical creatures, and hidden clues along the way.
  • Crazy Golf – Navigate your ball up ramps, wind it around whimsical horses and toadstools, spiral through a helter-skelter, and aim for the lighthouse before crossing the bridge and rolling it through the castle gateway.
  • Sledge Run – Climb to the top, take your place on a colourful sledge, and see who can race to the bottom the fastest. With two lanes side by side, it’s the perfect chance for a bit of friendly competition between siblings, friends, or even grown-ups!
  • Wooden Maze – Twist, turn and retrace your steps as you navigate our challenging wooden maze.
  • Footgolf – Navigate the wide-open fairways and aim for the oversized holes using just your feet.
  • Jumping Pillows – Leap, bounce, and giggle to your hearts’ content on our colourful jumping pillows.
  • Pedal Go-Karts – Hop aboard our pedal-powered go karts and enjoy a fun, easy-going ride around the track.

Visitors can also explore traditional play favourites – from swings and spinners to climbing structures and the big sandpit. Plus, we’ve got zip slides, a viking swing, pedal tractors, a giant sandpit and more, ensuring there’s something for every little adventurer to enjoy.

Enjoy hot or cold drinks, ice-cream and a range of other snacks at the outdoor food unit (open during local school holidays, 11.30am to 3pm). A seating area overlooks the fun with picnic benches around the park should you wish to bring your own picnic.

Visitors can also dine in Brechin Castle Centre’s Coffee Shop.

With ample free parking and built solely on the flat, the centre is accessible to everyone, making it an ideal meeting place for you, your friends and family.
