104 Glengate is a beautiful two-bedroom home full of character, with a traditional exterior with red sandstone, in keeping of ‘The wee red toon’. Located in the peaceful town of Kirriemuir, right in the heart of Angus.
Glens Clova, Prosen and Isla are on your doorstep, it’s the perfect location for a family holiday or an active break.
The home is equipped with everything you need for a night in after exploring the town and hills beyond.
Inside, the house is bright and recently redecorated. The lounge area is primed for chill-out mode with a 50″ television and access to Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime included. There’s a dining table with seating for four and a kitchen which is freshly updated and equipped with all you need for a self-catering break.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms – one king and one double, both beautifully decorated with loads of natural light. The double room boasts views of The Den. There’s also a modern bathroom with an over the bath shower.
Glengate is only a short 5 minute stroll to the town centre. You’ll find everything you need in town, with a bakery, butchers, gift shops, cafes and restaurants. Don’t forget to check out the Bon Scott and Peter Pan statues. The path beside the house leads straight to The Den, a green space with a brilliant playpark for the kids.
Kirriemuir is known as the Gateway to the Glens. The Angus Glens include ten ‘Munros’ (mountains over 3,000 feet), and miles of narrow twisting roads, great for cyclists, drivers, hill walkers and nature lovers alike. Glen Clova, arguably the most beautiful, is located just north of Kirriemuir. The location is also ideal for golfers with Kirriemuir Golf Club only 1.5 miles from the property.
Glamis Castle, childhood home of the late Queen Mother and legendary setting of Shakespeare’s play Macbeth, is just 5 miles away.
