Hope Garden is a charity that provides horticultural opportunities for with adults with learning disabilities and other support needs. We are a small market garden with polytunnels, organic vegetable plots and nature areas.
Hope Garden will be open beyond our main shop area, where visitors are encouraged to look around the site to see the hard work of trainees, volunteers and staff.
We have polytunnels and raised beds, fruit trees and peaceful beautiful pond area. We will be on hand to answer questions and share our growing success, meet some trainees and volunteers, and have some small activities to try including micro green growing, willow stars, bee hotels and seed paper making.
Refreshments will be available for a small donation.
Booking is not required.
Doors Open Days is is Scotland’s largest free festival that celebrates places and stories, new and old, and is coordinated nationally by the Scottish Civic Trust.
