Queerying Angus: Pride in Past and Present
About This Event
This exhibit shines a light on the rich and often untold stories of LGBTQI+ people in Angus, connecting local narratives to wider histories of resilience and creativity.
A highlight of the display is our recent acquisition, Fantasy Teapot, a whimsical yet symbolic work from Angus born artist and activist Angus Suttie.
Alongside this outstanding piece, archival materials and objects from our own Angus collections reveal fascinating LGBTQI+ stories of the past and present in Angus.
