Riverwoods Storytelling, Activities and Cake
About This Event
Come and celebrate Montrose Visitor Centre’s 31st birthday with Riverwoods, through storytelling, creative activities, cake will be provided.
From 10:30am to 12:00pm, we will head out on a walk with storyteller Cara Silversmith, exploring Montrose Basin—an enclosed estuary of the River South Esk, known for its wide tidal mudflats and rich birdlife, where birds come to feed, rest and nest.
From 12:00pm to 1:30pm, we will return to the visitor centre for creative activities and cake. There will be time to share your own stories, memories or reflections on the area and Scotland’s waterways, as well as opportunities to make zines and contribute to a large collective collage.
