Sara Petite Band
About This Event
Sara Petite is a Country Roots Rock and Roller and Singer Songwriter from San Diego, California, who grew up in a tulip-farming town in rural Washington State, launching her musical career, after moving to Southern California.
She is an outlaw Country headliner, whose music reaches far beyond the boundaries of the genre to the Rock & Roll roadhouse and the honky-tonk. Sara is touring with a four-piece band, also featuring rising star, Joe Coombs, on guitars, Scott Warman, on bass, and Jamie Dawson, on drums, all of whom are known from playing as part of the Annie Keating Band.
With her raw, rough-edged version of American Roots music, Sara has earned many accolades over a career, extending close to two decades, including Top 40 success on the Americana charts, international airplay, five times a finalist for the International Songwriting Competition and a half-dozen trophies from the San Diego Music Awards.
The Sara Petite Band will be touring to showcase Sara’s seventh Album, entitled “The Empress.” The eleven songs of the record take place in dive bars and trailer parks, covering, from a female perspective, territory, which Sara knows well..
Admission for this gig is £15, payable in cash at the door, or tickets can be purchased beforehand by emailing brucekenneth130@gmail.com.
