Scottish Transport Extravaganza

Strathmore Vintage Vehicle Club are delighted to be holding the 50th Scottish Transport Extravaganza in the magnificent grounds of Glamis Castle.
This event is regarded as the premier vintage motoring spectacular in Scotland and is one of the largest of its kind in Britain.
This display will bring together over 1700 vehicles representing a wide array of transport comprising veteran, vintage and classic vehicles and machinery (cars, commercials, military, tractors, steam engines, motor cycles, static engines and exhibits)
A significant part of the display is created by the various car clubs who attend this event. In addition to the vehicles the event attracts over 150 Stands including auto jumble, motor trade, antiques and fundraising stalls.
Filling each day will be the usual variety of parades and pipe bands and amusements for adults and children of all ages.
A selection of food vendors will be present to provide snacks, refreshments, full meals or simply an ice cream.
The event is open from 9am to 5pm both days and parking for visitors is free, dogs are welcome provided they are kept on a lead.
Tickets are available to purchase upon arrival on the day. Cash is preferred due to sporadic internet issues.
