‘Balancing the Scales’ screening with Beaver Trust Q&A
About This Event
Beavers are returning to Scotland after being driven to extinction centuries ago. Though they bring extraordinary benefit across landscapes and communities they can create conflict. The Beaver Trust have produced a documentary film, narrated by Joanna Lumley, to explore one area of perceived conflict: that between beavers and migratory fish.
The Scottish Wildlife Trust Angus and Dundee Group and the Montrose Playhouse are hosting a special screening of this film, taking viewers on a journey through beaver habitats, along UK rivers, and beyond. Following the screening, there will be a Q&A session with a Beaver Trust expert, and hopefully some lively conversation.
This viewing will take place at Montrose Playhouse, The Mall, Montrose, DD10 8NN. Parking is available to the rear of the building, off North Street. This venue is accessible by public transport. This is event is family friendly but children but be accompanied by an adult. The venue has disabled access. No dogs allowed except assistance dogs.
