Say hello to a Highland cow!

We are hosting a unique Highland Cow experience on Saturday 22nd August, where you will have the chance to hear from the knowledgeable handlers from Barna Fold and meet with either Jojo or her calf Nellie, their beloved Highland Cows.

At your chosen time, a host will guide your group on a short walk to the field, where you’ll get to enjoy 30 minutes with your cow. You’ll be able to groom them, learn more about them and capture some memorable family photos. Afterwards, you’ll be able to wash and sanitise your hands before the taking the short walk back to the castle and grounds.

Extend your day at Glamis Castle when also visiting our Castle Kitchen Restaurant for lunch, pop into our Pavilion shop which is home to plenty of gifts and Highland Cow themed trinkets, or simply take a stroll through our gardens.

Tickets cost £56.87 per group of up to 4 people, all of which can join in the experience. Entry into Glamis Castle Gardens for all participants is also included within this price.
