The West Links is an esplanade lying a quarter of a mile (0.4km) to the west of Arbroath Harbour, sandwiched between the beach and the main East Coast rail line between Aberdeen and London.
There is lots of family fun to be had at West Links Fun Park in Arbroath. Children will love the different attractions on offer for all ages, including an adventure playground, tennis courts, mini racing cars, crazy golf, foot golf and a paddling pool.
Hot and cold snacks and refreshments at the kiosks on the West Links with seats aplenty for those wishing to sit rather than eat on the go.
It is possible to walk from West Links via the coastal path past Arbroath Golf Course to the village of Easthaven and onwards to Carnoustie; a distance of approximately 7 miles (11.2km).
On a warm summer day, families often head to the beach to paddle in the sea or build sandcastles on the sand.

West Links Parkrun is a free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it’s up to you! This event is held every Saturday at 9.30am. Meet at West Links Park.
