Kym Needle – A Sixty Year Circular Journey Making Pictures
About This Event
Visit the Meffan Museum and Art Gallery to see an exhibition by Kym Needle – A Sixty Year Circular Journey Making Pictures. Paintings by Kym Needle, Poetry by Henry Marsh.
Through a Western European tradition of painting, Kym Needle explores an essentially alien landscape and strive to come to terms with the European involvement with that landscape, whilst attempting to make significant the thousands of years of journeys that the Aboriginal Peoples of Australia have made.
Kym was born in Gawler, and raised on a small farm between Williamstown and Lyndoch, South Australia. He moved to Angus in August 2006 and currently works from a studio at home.
No booking is required to visit this exhibition, just drop in during museum opening hours.
