The Bothy Experience, home of the award winning Gin Bothy, is nestled in the picturesque and historic village of Glamis in Angus, minutes from Glamis Castle.
The Experience like a bothy is free to explore, our Bothy Beginnings room takes you through our Gin Bothy journey while our Bothy Tales room tells the story of Scottish Bothies.
The Bothy Experience is where tradition and culture meets tasting and retail.
Our retail shops showcase the full Gin Bothy range of gin, jam, butter and branded gifts and homeware.
Our second shop, The Bothy Larder, is now open at 6 Lochside Road, Forfar. Here you’ll find the full award-winning Bothy range, including our Gin Bothy spirits and liqueurs, Rum Bothy, Jam Bothy and our new Bothy Butter. We also showcase some of Angus’ best local producers and growers along with a range of gifts and ideas for your home including pure wool blankets, candles and cards.

The Bothy Experience, Glamis:
Thursday to Sunday – 11am to 5pm and Bank Holiday Mondays.
Book online to join us in our cosy and rustic bothy rooms where you’ll enjoy a tasting including our most popular spirits and liqueurs.
Private hosted tastings and event hire are also available.
Gift vouchers for tastings are available online and in store.
