St Vigeans Stones and Museum Open Day
Wednesday 22 March
10am to 4.30pm
St Vigeans Sculptured Museum is home to one of the most important collections of Pictish Christian stones, including the Drosten Stone which carries a remarkable inscription and includes a hooded hunter and a squatting imp.
During My Angus, enjoy an open day and a fantastic opportunity to see the 38 pictish carved stones in the museum. The stones were once found in different parts of St Vigeans, which was most like an important Pictish religious centre. Booking is not required.
