Doors Open Days - Camera Obscura
The Camera Obscura sits on Kirrie Hill, overlooking Kirriemuir and the valley of Strathmore and is one of only four camera obscuras in Scotland. Both the camera, and the cricket pavilion in which it sits, were donated in 1930 by JM Barrie (1860 - 1937) to his home town. Tea/coffee and light refreshments available. There will be kite flying at the venue – bring your own or buy/hire one.
Open Saturday 2 & Sunday 3 September, 11am–5pm.
This event is part of Doors Open Days.
