Apple Harvest Day

Apple Harvest Day

Apple Harvest Day celebrates the reward of the fruits of the season. Visitors will be invited to pick their own apples and enjoy the entertainment.

To aid the conservation of this wonderful, rare example of a water-powered corn mill, purchase a bag and pick your own apples from our heritage orchard. Great fun for the whole family.

If you wish, you can juice them here and enjoy the taste right away. There will be expert advice on hand if you happen to have a fruit tree at home or would like to plant one. Local craft stalls will have their produce for sale and be showcasing their community projects. Storytelling and children’s games will also be ongoing through the day.

As part of the Angus Doors Open Weekend, there will be no charge for visiting the mill and the grounds will be open, as always, should you wish to bring a picnic or go for a walk.

This event is part of Angus Heritage Week, 1 to 10 September 2017
