Wildlife Watch at Montrose Basin

The Montrose Wildlife Watch group arranges a variety of fun activities and events for children aged 6 to 12. From nature trails to scavenger hunts, arts and crafts to fungal forays, there are loads of cool ways to get closer to wildlife in your area.

We meet once a month at the Montrose Basin Visitor Centre, 10:30 to 12:00. Activities are usually outdoors, weather permitting.

This month’s activity: nests and eggs! We’ll be learning about birds’ nests and eggs, and doing an egg scavenger hunt.

We’re now looking for new members to join our Watch group! Please come along and tell your friends.
