The Adam Ross Band at Montrose Folk Club

Originally from Nairn, but now the Sage of St. Cyrus, where he has lived for a few years, Adam Ross plays what is now a Home Town Gig for us to showcase his new Album, “Littoral Zone”. Adam will perform with his five-piece Band, a few days after their appearance at the Findhorn Bay Festival.

Adam Ross is one of Scotland’s most talented Singer Songwriters and for ten years he was the Leader of the cult Eight-piece Indie Band, Randolph’s Leap. His second Solo Album, “Littoral Zone”, produced by award-winning composer and multi-instrumentalist, Andrew Wasylyk, is reminiscent of the work of the great Seventies Californian Singer Songwriters, such as Jackson Browne.

The Band playing with Adam will be producer Andrew Wasylyk, on bass guitar, Gillian Fleetwood, on keyboards, Pedro Cameron of Man of the Minch on fiddle, and Owen Curtis Williams, of Withered Hand, on drums.

Gillian Fleetwood will play a Support Set on solo harp, featuring songs from her new Album, “Together with Yourself at Sea Level.”
