Summer Family Fun Day at Glamis Castle

Looking for a grand day out for all the family? Our Summer Family Fun Day has enough to keep both kids and adults busy, from bouncy castles and inflatable fun to a family yoga sessions and wild foraging workshops.

Tickets to our Spring Family Fun Day include all of the leisure activities listed below (unless stated otherwise) as well as access to our Gardens and Grounds. Food, drink and market purchases are to be paid for as taken.

Team Challenge

Glamis Castle have partnered with Team Challenge Company to offer a wide array of activities including:

•  Human Demolition
• Pirate Assault Course

Creative Sparks Yoga

Adults and children can join in one of these special yoga sessions. All equipment is provided but spaces are limited so make sure you sign up when you arrive.

Kids yoga session 10:30-11am
Family yoga session 11:30-12:00pm

Children’s Foraging Walks

Eleanor Brown, the Fermented Forager, will be hosting gentle foraging walks in our gardens and grounds. Come along to discuss an introduction to wild flavours, wild nutrition and wild remedies. Walks will commence at 10.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pm and 2.30pm. Please register your interest in attending when you arrive on the day.

Sand Art

Sand art is a colourful and fun activity where children can select a pre glued picture, reveal a sticky section one or two pieces at a time and cover with coloured sand until the picture is covered in sand.  It is possible to mix colours, make patterns and get very creative. Children will then be able to take their picture memento home! Just register your interest in attending on the day.

Glamis Scouts

Our local branch of Scouts will be hosting an activity stall alongside their club leaders. For a donation, visitors can get involved in some fun activities involving Nerf guns, soft archery and a tombola.

Happily Ever Arts Workshops

Have fun getting arty wild-style and make some foliage based Nature Sculptures, Forest Hats, or Creative Creatures in our comfy “Craft Den” with all the tools, supplies, and help you may need on hand from a friendly craft guide. Or chose to “rock out” when rock decorating or watch the happenings of our in-house insect display. Available from 10.30am – 3.30pm.

Face Painting

Get into character when visiting our professional face painter. Face painting is offered at a supplement and is payable on the day as taken.

Market Stalls

We are showcasing a variety of food and drink traders as well as quality, local crafters and suppliers and offer you the opportunity to purchase goods.

Tickets

Access to our Summer Family Fun Day is included within our Gardens and Grounds admission tickets where prices are from £8.50 per adult, £6.00 per child (5 – 16 years) and free for children under 5. Family tickets are also available for £25.00.
