Joining Bassey on Saturday 4 June are the Arbroath Men’s Shed showcasing their wooden lighthouse designs.
7 June: John Rennie’s birth in 1761. John was supervising engineer of the construction of the Bell Rock Lighthouse.
8 June: Robert Stevenson’s birth in 1772, 250 years to the day since the architect of the Bell Rock Lighthouse was born!
11 June: To celebrate World Oceans Day this week, join our team at Signal Tower Museum from 10am to participate in a Beach Clean, then a recycle workshop to turn trash into treasure.
During the week visitors can try out our VR headsets to experience a bird’s eye view of the Signal Tower Museum which played such as important role as the shore station supporting the Bell Rock Lighthouse.
