My Angus Week: Explore Angus Archives

Angus Archives is the repository for the historical records of the former Angus burghs (Arbroath, Brechin, Carnoustie, Forfar, Kirriemuir, Montrose and Monifieth), Angus County Council and for private papers and photographs of all types. The archives specialise in family history, house history and local history, and expert staff are on hand to help with any research into Angus’ past.
During My Angus week, pop along and explore the archives – see some of the gems from the collections, browse the extensive local history book collection and the things you can discover about Angus’ history.
