Edzell Bonfire Night and Fireworks Display

Edzell Village Improvement Society and Bonfire Group present their 2024 Bonfire and Fireworks Night.
Special guest appearances by Guy Fawkes and Catherine Wheel.
Bonfire from 6pm. Fireworks at 6.45pm.
Leave your Barkin’ Doggies at home and Rocket along to Edzell Muir for a fantastic Bonfire Night celebration.
Strictly no sparklers please.

If your planning attending our Bonfire and Fireworks this year please can we ask you follow these suggestions for safe parking to allow access for emergency vehicles in narrow streets such as Manse Road and Church Street:
• Be respectful when parking so emergency services can move around the village if needed
• Avoid parking over residents drives
• Arrive early knowing the parking is an issue and be prepared to walk.
• There is very limited disabled parking at Edzell Primary School and will be used for this purpose only
• Drop off small children with adults near the muir and park safely.
• Residents to park in own drives to clear streets so vehicles can arrive and leave quickly without any incidents
• Arrive early as parking is as a major issue
• There is NO PARKING around the Muir to keep small children safe
• Use back streets in village, carry a torch and prepare to walk some distance to the event
• Be mindful of residents in the village and do not park over peoples drives
• Park on all roads leading out of the village such as Dunlappie Road, Lethnot Road and Inverescandy Road. Be prepared to walk with a torch to keep small children safe
• Try to arrive in the village through the arch from the Brechin side and park facing towards the Gannochy Bridge. Please leave the village via the Gannochy Bridge. Such movement of traffic will help parking and ease congestion when leaving the village
