Birdsong at Balgavies

We’ll be taking a walk around the Scottish Wildlife Trust’s Balgavies Loch Nature Reserve, identifying the birdsong we hear along the way. If you’re interested in picking up tips on recognising birdsong, then this is the perfect event for you!

This is a circular walk around the reserve. Please dress for the weather – some parts of the path can get muddy if there has been recent rainfall. And bring binoculars if you have some! The walk is mostly flat, but there are some fairly steep slopes.

Please note there are two car parks at Balgavies Loch, and we will be meeting at the larger of the two; the one closest to the bird hide. The location of this car park can be found by using the following what3words code: ///snake.hypnotist.rewarded
